Should WillDav run for Mayor of San Antonio in 2011?Submitted by willdav713 on Fri, 08/27/2010 - 03:33 |
I am seriously contemplating this, running for Mayor of San Antonio, Texas.
But people say I live in Austin. That is not true. That is only half-true.
You see I have 2 residences. But I am domicled (where you pay the IRS and your paychecks are sent to if you don't have direct deposit) plus my Social Security checks go to a San Antonio residence, therefore making San Antonio my domicle. Guess what? That makes me qualified to run for Mayor of the City Of San Antonio!!!!
I need a tresurer though, now that is where I hit a road block.
If I am elected I will give the City of San Antonio FREE BUS FARE!!!! No more bus fare for San Antonio. That will be my major priority, and resinding the revised smoking ordinance that just passed. I will cut property taxes, and cut unneccessary expenses for instance I will make city hall open to all by eliminating the private contract security personal and metal detectors because once we step outside city hall let me ask you are we really safe? NO. Why the metal detectors? Safety. Inconsisent, and ineffective wasteful spending. I will eliminate the SAWS board, and CPS beaurcracy. More importantly I will bring back the no more than 7.875% Sales Tax, and setup a Mayor's Disabilites Council just like here in Austin. Also they will be JOBS, JOBS, and JOBS.
The Mayor has power to create Jobs for people.
Any thoughts? or Volunteer's for Tresurer?
